19th Edition of Divya Kala Mela

Recently, Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar and other dignitaries joined Governor Shri S. Abdul Nazeer in launching the 19th Divya Kala Mela in Visakhapatnam. The purpose of this event is to empower disabled artists or “Divyang artisans” and to advance inclusivity in society.

Financial Support and Initiatives

Ten Divyang recipients were given ₹40 lakh in concessional loans as part of the fair. The National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) gave these loans to let people with disabilities launch or expand their enterprises a step toward financial independence.
